We invest in companies and founders who leverage their cultural competency to solve important problems that have a definitive, positive impact on underrepresented communities. What You’ll Do: In this role you will engage with all aspects of Union Heritage including, but not limited to, attending meetings with founders and LPs, managing follow-ups, executing internal special projects, partner branding/marketing, and working with our community of founders. Our ideal candidate is extremely organized and detail oriented, adept at prioritizing and multitasking, takes initiative, and constantly thinks one step ahead. Please note: This is not an investing role.
Ideal Background: Our ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience, be based in Detroit, and be available to start immediately. The role is a unique opportunity that can be a good fit for a variety of professional backgrounds. A few examples include an operations manager or project manager who has worked in a fast-paced environment and has prior experience managing multiple work streams, or a business generalist with prior experience working within corporate, banking, or consulting with a passion for technology / venture capital.
