The Abundant Alliance (“Alliance”) enables health systems to join forces and shift from “defense to offense” in order to counter the investment and disruption created by insurgents who are betting against the health system model. The Alliance is a collaborative of health systems convened by Abundant Venture Partners that launch and invest in new companies, designed by health systems for the benefit of health systems, to accelerate and scale a meaningful impact on operating budgets, balance sheets, and employee engagement.
You’re excited about this opportunity because:
Venture Studio Support: Support all aspects of a venture decision, from idea due diligence to venture creation and execution. Provide a thorough assessment of all relevant data to support the decision process.
- Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, secondary research, and analysis on prospective new venture opportunities to support the decision process
- Understand and update relevant indicators for healthcare technology markets and players through market opportunity analysis and competitive landscaping
- Analyze, size, and segment addressable markets, identify sources of sustainable competitive advantage and identify and synthesize market trends and risks
- Create reports, memos, venture overview briefs, and decks from research that will serve to advise the team
- Prepare marketing materials and presentations to share with clients that are concise and well-structured
- Present materials and presentations to clients
Project Management: Support the day-to-day project management of new ventures by supporting project activities. You will help develop, execute, and achieve project goals, timelines, and success markers.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external meetings
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope and schedule
- Manage the relationship with clients and stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including legal documentation
- Take detailed briefing notes and clarify the specific requirements of each project
We’re excited about you because:
- You have 5+ years of experience in healthcare tech/services-focused strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, product marketing, or other relevant roles, bringing a strong analytical background
- You’re a master at using Google Slides to create executive-level presentations and know your way around Excel/Google Sheets, especially the advanced functions.
- People have applauded your strong work ethic, and you can envision, prioritize and complete parallel projects without requiring hands-on guidance in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- People want to hear from you because you know how to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and can tailor a message for a specific audience.
- Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you can manage multiple projects in your sleep.
- You have a voice, and you use it to question the status quo and provide insightful perspectives that push forward-thinking.
