This is your opportunity to:
- Learn about the amazing world of entrepreneurship and venture capital.
- Apply your technical and theoretical knowledge from software and AI engineering to identify and invest in the tech companies of the future.
- Deliver measurable impact on the artificial intelligence revolution currently happening in venture capital.

A bit about Dreamcraft Ventures:
We are a Copenhagen-based venture capital manager investing in early-stage, tech-driven startups, primarily at seed stage in the Nordics and Germany, where we have a solid brand and network. We have invested in early-stage startups since 2019 and are currently investing out of our EUR 55 - 75m Fund II. Today, we are a team of 12 coming from diverse backgrounds, nationalities and interests.
Based on our own experiences, we believe companies reach their highest potential with diverse founding teams of high-quality dreamers and crafters. We are hands-on venture engineers supporting founding teams through engagements that go deeper than just advice, guided by our core values:
- Progressive e.g. in the way we build companies.
- Proper e.g. in the way we make investment decisions.
- Down to earth e.g. in the way we engage founders and other stakeholders.
Main responsibilities of the role:
You will work as part of the investment team to research, find, analyze, invest in, and support the best technology startups. As an Analyst, you will support Investment Managers with:
- Sourcing: conducting research and analysis on trends, emerging technologies and markets to formulate investment theses and identify quality investment opportunities
- Investment: screening materials, speaking to founders, interviewing experts, analyzing technologies, drafting investment memos and supporting due diligence
- Relationship Building: build and expand relationships with portfolio and prospect CTOs as well as technology experts to uncover insights and refine our investment theses
- Reporting: collecting reports from founders and preparing reports to our investors
We imagine that you:
- Are pursuing a bachelor or master degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, software development, data science, mathematics, physics or other related fields.
- Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Python as well as written and spoken English.
- Have completed projects leveraging data and machine learning in the past, whether that be in free-time, academic or professional settings.
- Are passionate about emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and curious about venture capital.
- Are a fast-learner who works with a can-do attitude and requires limited supervision.
- Take pride in delivering high quality, meet deadlines and follow projects through to completion.
We are looking for a techy with the ambition to become an investor, so prior experience in venture capital or investing is not required. We do however expect that you are passionate about emerging technologies and machine learning and eager to immerse yourself in venture capital investing. By joining our team, you'll have the unique opportunity to acquire invaluable knowledge and skills in both domains.
The Analyst role will be filled by either a student worker or an Intern as we are open to both set-up.
If a student worker you will be employed for 10-20 hours per week and the scheduling of working hours is flexible and will be adjusted according to your study program and exam periods.
We will review applications and conduct interviews on an on-going basis, so don’t wait to apply. Start date no later than 01 August 2024
