About the role:
We are seeking a talented and driven Venture Scout who will be responsible for scouring the market for innovative ideas and high-growth startups that could be a good fit for Infinium Venture Studio. Your collaborative approach will involve working closely with our Chief Product Officer (CPO) to identify and recruit the most innovative startups in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Conduct verification on potential investments, including gathering information about the management team, business model, and market opportunity of these startups
- Build and maintain a wide network of connections, including entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other professionals
- Work closely with your local university clubs to source the most innovative and breakthrough ideas
- Establish public relations with startups
- Build strong relations with local accelerators to source top projects
- Conduct thorough research on companies and industries to gather information and insights that can inform investment decisions
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role, or 2 years of experience in investment banking or the private equity industry
- Established relations with professors from your local universities
- Prior experience in a VC scout program operating in new markets
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Basic understanding of legal issues related to venture capital and investment
- Knowledge of SAAS B2B and AI sector
- Strong understanding of startups
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to address challenges that may arise during the investment process
- Collaboration skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
